Product Description Replacement mainsail for MacGregor 22 Models and Venture 222 Models Made 1971 - 1982 with the original factory rig. (Does not fit Early Venture 22 Models made 1967 -1971. If in doubt measure and compare the posted sail dimensions). This mainsail is made similar the original factory sail but has no reef points. It has a composite headboard and is upgraded with a leech line to prevent the trailing edge from fluttering. It has 4 battens instead of the original 3 for better durability and performance. Sail Slugs are included which stay connected to the mast and make hoisting and lowering the mainsail more convenient. The foot attaches to the boom with a bolt rope and heavy outhaul slug at the clew. The panels are sewn with one wide pass of triple step stitching using a top quality UV resistant thread. It is intended for daysailing and light coastal cruising. Dimensions:
