Yonex also improved the OPS System in the shaft, providing a stable, yet flexible, soft feel. The E-Zone Xi 98 offers excellent power and a flexible, forgiving feel and impresses from all areas of the court. From the baseline the racquet feels very maneuverable allowing easy access to fast swings for power and spin generation. At net the racquet provides the player with all the feedback needed for confident and crisp volleys. There is ample feel for all the touch and finesse needed on drop volleys and angles. On serve the Yonex E-Zone Xi 98 provides some nice power thanks to its firm and responsive flex. The 16x19 string pattern really helped in adding plenty of bite to slice and kick serves.
