Additional Information: The Dayton Steel Racquet Company, Dayton ,Ohio, began production of tennis racquets in 1922. They were strung with piano wire, considered indestructible, & therefore ideal for schools etc., where they received rough handling------which is why most of the ones you see on the market today are heavily scratched.This particular racquet is a "New Dayton" model and harder to find than the models named "Clipper", "Cadet", "Aviator", & "Pilot".
